According to The Sun, the former Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho has no intention of taking a break from the game after he was sacked by Abramovich. Mourinho has been sacked barely seven months after he helped the London club win the English Premier League.
However the source states that “the special one” is already in talks over succeeding his former mentor at Manchester United, Louis van Gaal. Furthermore, The Sun say that negotiations have already begun.
On Saturday Van Gaal said:
Of course I am worried about [Mourinho’s sacking] because belief in a manager is very important. And when you lose as a manager that confidence decreases. That is happening now, and I cannot close my eyes to that.
According to the ESPN, Mourinho has already received concrete offers for next season and his agent Jorge Mendes, who helped facilitate deals for Angel Di Maria and Radamel Falcao at United, continues to assess his client’s options.
