BARCELONA BREAK REAL MADRID'S RECORD

Barcelona have broken Real Madrid’s record for the most goals scored in a calendar year. On Wednesday Barcelona defeated Real Betis 4 – 0.

Lionel Messi’s strike had pulled Barca level on 178 goals in all competitions with Madrid, who set the record in 2014, while two Luis Suarez efforts pushed the Spanish champions’ total to 180 for 2015,
 goal reports.

In 2015 Messi has scored 48 goals, Suarez has 48 goals and Neymar has 41. They have scored 75% of Barcelona’s total goals for the year. It also should be noted that Messi made his 500th appearance for the Catalan side.
